I’m Aja — founder of Mae Salon + Wellness and a lifelong believer that beauty goes far beyond the surface. With over 14 years in this industry, my journey has taken me from AVEDA training in Denver, to living and traveling all over the world, and back again as an Aveda Educator. In 2017, I opened Mae (originally Chemistry Hair Lab) with one goal in mind: to create a space where both stylists and clients feel supported, inspired, and cared for.
For my team, that means building careers that feel fulfilling — where growth is encouraged, creativity is nurtured, and coming to work never feels like a chore. For our clients, it means offering an experience that goes beyond great hair. I wanted to build a community where self-care is honored, inner beauty shines, and every detail feels intentional.
Behind the chair, I’m a highly trained Master Hair Colorist specializing in lived-in blondes and extensions. Hair color comes to me as an intuitive download almost where I gain a clear sense of what you are seeking. My approach is highly detailed, beginning with a thorough consultation designed to understand not just your hair goals, but the energy behind your desired change. Every look I create is tailored to you, with finesse and care.

Hi! I’m Emily. I know that when you’re searching for a stylist, you’re really searching for someone who can help you feel confident and solve the challenges you’ve had with your hair — and that’s exactly what I’m here to do.
Since 2010, I’ve been creating custom hair plans to help my clients achieve their goals through low-maintenance color and extensions. I specialize in brondes, lived-in dimensional color, and specialty extensions that look and feel natural, are completely wearable, and can be styled however you’d like from the very first day.
Outside of the salon, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book, crafting, baking, or spending time with my sweet fur babies.

Hair design runs in my family and I fell in love with the industry watching my oldest sister work her magic behind the chair. I grew up on the east coast, and have recently moved out this way to explore the mountains!
There are so many aspects of being behind the chair that I love but my favorites include lived-in blonding, rich dimension, and event styling. Don't get me started with weddings, they're my absolute favorite!
When I'm not in the salon, it's safe to assume I'm off on an incredible adventure. Whether it's a trip months in the making or a spontaneous getaway, you'll find me exploring my way through the country and the world!

Hi, I’m Grace! I’m passionate about helping my clients feel empowered and beautiful not just after their appointment, but throughout the entire experience. I take pride in creating customized looks that align with my clients' goals and lifestyles.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I’ve been in the hair industry for three years, but my love for beauty started long before that. As a kid, you could always find me experimenting with new hair and makeup looks. Now, I especially love doing vibrant reds, lived-in blondes, and transformative makeovers that bring out my clients’ best selves.
My priority is making every client feel comfortable, heard, and confident from the moment they walk through the door. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me cozied up with a good book, pushing myself in the gym, or out on new adventures with friends

I’m a proud Colorado native, a mom to four amazing kids, and a dog mom to my sweet Bernedoodle, Ralphie. I’ve spent the last 18 years serving this incredible community, and I feel so lucky to do what I love every day.
My passion for bridal hair is what first inspired me to enter the beauty industry, and I love being part of such special moments. I hope to be with my brides every step of the way — from engagement celebrations and photos to the big day itself — making sure their hair feels perfect for every event along the journey.
I also specialize in balayage, extensions, and styling — creating soft, beautiful, lived-in looks for my clients. What matters most to me is building lasting relationships and making sure every guest feels cared for and confident when they leave my chair.
